Jake Lambert
Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand-up and it’s proven to be a great choice making it to the final of the Amused Moose Final, semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award, Magner New Comedian of the Year, English Comedian of the year and the Leicester Mercury Acts of the year.
Jake has gone on to support Sean Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen, Michael Mcintyre and Rob Beckett on their UK tours as well as writing on Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Now Show, News Quiz, Bake Off : The Professionals and bake Off : An Extra Slice.
‘Brilliant One-Liner’ Chortle
‘Could easily be a TV star in no time at all’ Ed Fest Mag
Susan Murray
This bad assed black country lass takes no prisoners with her irreverent, close to the knuckle and honest humour. Susan Murray will have you laughing well into the next millennium with her razor sharp cynicism. Funny, cheeky, in your face, sometimes surreal and always a bit twisted.
‘Feisty fire-headed pocket rocket’ Broadway Baby.
‘Anyone who loves the work of Sarah Millican and Kerry Godliman will find plenty to enjoy here’ The Guardian
Javier Jarquin
Javier Jarquin is an extremely experienced and highly respected, multi-skilled performer. Having performed his critically acclaimed show Card Ninja in 27 territories, Javier has established himself as a masterful entertainer.
Javier was raised in New Zealand with Latin-American/Chinese parents, and skilfully weaves his unique perspective into every performance and delivers sharply executed insights on life as an immigrant. In addition, Javier’s joke rate is something to be envious of, a witty quick-hitter.
The perfect all-round entertainer with an abundance of skill, comedic flair and excessive likability, Javier is one to watch.
‘High calibre throughout’ The Morning Star
‘Fresh, funny and unique.’ The Press (NZ)
‘Jarquin draws in the audience like an industrial magnet.’ SG Fringe
Alexander Bennett
Alexander Bennett’s comedy has been variously described as dark, silly, filthy and thoughtful. He has numerous Edinburgh Fringe runs under his belt, has filmed several stand up specials and he created the cult hit comedy game show Hell To Play. He has recently started his new podcast Born Yesterday with comedian Andy Barr.
He was a key player in Mark Watson’s Comedy Marathon, was nominated at the Leicester Comedy Awards as part of Consignia and co-orchestrated a huge charity event at the Pleasance Grand in Edinburgh called Dan Vs Food, in which a cast of 25+ comedians (including Phil Wang, Ed Gamble, Iain Stirling, Nick Helm, Sophie Duker and Ivo Graham) watched a man called Dan eat his lunch. He has recently appeared on Radio 4 and The Comedian’s Comedian podcast.
“Passionate and praiseworthy dark observational comedy”
THE SKINNY
“Unique and hilarious”
